Robotics: human – machine
The collaboration between human and machine offers a broad range of interpretation in which it is eminently important to define how oneself understands this symbiosis and first and foremost: how to handle it. Particularly as an extension to one’s own resources.
Here you find the application possiblities, our robotics partner and some entertainment: we have sent our own Panda on an adventurous jouney – take a look under the heading “Co-pilot” …and enjoy…
The following videos show at least to some extent the thinkable range of applications in the collaboration between human and machine – robotic system PANDA.
Feasibility clarification: parts removal
Endurance test battery compartment II
The first test needed 46 seconds per cycle, new 25 seconds.
Production plastic bracket
Endurance test battery compartment
Endurance test suitcase
Endurance test spring
Endurance test anti-theft protection
Test digital lock
A decent co-pilot…
What’s it all about?
It’s about collaboration between human and machine. We want to demonstrate this in an entertaining manner. But the core is to be taken serously: It has become clear on the most recent industrial fairs that automation is no process, which only involves the big industrial machines. The amount of innovative and affordable “small solutions” with individual customization options is growing rapidly.
The answer is: Panda. This robot model is the product of the Franka Emika company, which has won the “German Future Award 2017”.
What makes the Panda so special?
The Panda is absolutely individually operable. And that not only by elaborate programming, but by especially customized apps.
Making of a decent co-pilot
„How did we end up with this video?“
Indeed – how did we do that? As we don’t want to conceal this from you, please take a look:
Would you like some more of Panda?
Of course we have been giving several different tasks to accomplish to our little robot. If you like to have a closer look, please visit the section “Application possibilities” or contact us directly.
Robotics is a very imprecise definition we only reluctantly use. We define robotics as the interaction between human and machine. We don’t want to erase jobs but to provide your employees with helpers in order to optimise your production processes. Small robots in the industrial environment are easy to handle and easy to program to your specific needs. Does it concern endurance tests? Does it concern high precise mechanical tasks, where even discrepancies in the millimetre range become unpleasantly noticeable?
The answer is Panda. The robot model Panda is a product of the Franka Emika Company, which has won the german future award “Deutscher Zukunftspreis 2017”. The Panda is absolutely individually operable. And not by some complex programming but by especially customized apps. The Panda is a mechanical precision tool, which does exactly what you want it to do. Tens of thousands of times. We are happy to mediate a Panda upon your request, do your customized programming and train you and your team.
Franka Emika GmbH
One of the most innovative designers and winner of the German Future Award 2017, Franka Emika GmbH from Munich is our partner concerning the relations human-machine.
Robots being gross industry machines is history. Especially the cobots (“collaborative robots”) are adaptive and teachable to a high degree and a lot more flexible than their big relatives. Simple operation through apps rather than extensive programming – that is the path into an automated future which we will take in collaboration with Franka Emika GmbH. Our Knowledge, our individually customizable skills and the hardware itself are available to our clients.
